Ursprünglich gebaut von FAE-Tuning, einem Ex-Mechaniker von Fa. Minispeed Folgende Tuningmaßnahmen wurden bei diesem Motor ausgeführt: Block auf 73,50mm aufgebohrt, Omegakolben, Nockenwelle Kent Typ 800 (268°), Pleuel ausgewogen, Kurbelwelle geschliffen, gehärtet und feingewuchtet, mittlere Lagerbockverstärkung, erleichtertes A-Serie-Schwungrad mit erleichteter Gegendruckplatte, einstellbares Aluminiumzahnriemenkitt, Zylinderkopf Stufe IIBV 36-31 mit verstärkten Ventilfedern, Bronzeventilführungen. Motorleistung ca. 66KW=90 PS Basismotor hat
extrem wenig gelaufen (<0,01mm Verschleiß in der Bohrung)
Der Motor wird
als "nackte Antriebseinheit" angeboten. Das heißt folgende Teile
auf dem Foto, das den fertig montierten Motor zeigt, sind nicht im Preis
enthalten, können aber auf Wunsch separat erworben werden:

Originally built by FAE-tuning, an ex mechanic who worked for Minispeed Germany. The following modifications were made to the original engine: Block bored and honed to 73,5mm, Omega pistons, Kent camshaft type 800 (268°), conrods balanced, crankshaft reground, tuftrided and balanced, center main strap, lightened A-series flywheel with lightened back plate, alloy vernier type toothed belt kit, cylinder head corresponding to english stage III with 36mm inlets and 31mm exhaust valve running in bronce guides, uprated valve springs. This engine will produce 90BHP+ at the flywheel or around 98 with highlift rockers which are not including nor fitted. This engine has only done very low mileage. There is nearly no wear in the bore. But nevertheless we have taken the assembly apart (You never know what is inside) fitted new main and big end bearings (vanderwell), new followers were fitted with all new gaskets and seal all around. The head got new exhaust valves for saftey and was skimmed and reconditioned as well. There is an orange clutch cover with a new clutch plate fitted and a new release bearing. The gearbox comes fully reconditioned with a 3,44 final drive and a competition oil pipe. This engine assembly is offered as an engine unit only without ancilleries as are not included: Starter motor, fan, radiator, carb and inlet manifold, exhaust manifold. You can buy these parts seperately, which we would advise, because the engine will be set up with them ready to fit. They are not included. Please ask for price of ancilleries.
